Dairy farmer Jan Francke is using Ovalert, equipped with technology by Nedap, to monitor his herd of 100 cows and 70 youngstock in Grijpskerke, The Netherlands. "We opted to get activity monitoring before expanding the barn, so we could monitor the cows during the build. We plan to use Lely robots, and this was the best compatible heat detection system."
